A heroic Iraq war veteran who lost both legs after a bomb turned his truck into a ball of flame is serving as an inspiration to others, teaching yoga in the city and across the country.

Retired Army Sgt. Dan Nevins, 42, became a yoga teacher who uses his story to motivate his students.

On Thursday, more than 600 people showed up to a popular yoga session in Bryant Park, where he gave instruction wearing metal prosthetics.
